During World War 1, legal work increased as a result of mobilization. This prompted the JAG to appoint deputies at various armed forces headquarters to review court martial proceedings and supervise other officers involved in the trial. The fact that so many aspects of the court martial were in the hands of one man, the JAG, did not go unnoticed. Army Legal Services Branch is a group of qualified lawyers, lawyers and Scottish lawyers who provide legal support to the military. [3] The services provided by the ALA are governed by the principle that its dependents and ukBCs are not able to obtain legal advice and assistance from civilian lawyers to resolve their personal legal problems when serving foreign soldiers. ALA officials organize legal clinics in Germany and in operating rooms. In 1992, ALC was incorporated into the MCO as the Army Legal Services Branch. On October 1, 2018, the Army Legal Service celebrated its 70th anniversary. Many of the functions of als were once exercised by the Advocate General (JAG), whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.

In addition, there are ALS officers within the advisory branch who specialize in specific areas such as specialized labor law, drafting primary and subordinate laws, as well as the preparation and processing of key documents such as the Military Law Manual and the Queen`s Regulations. The Army Legal Services Branch of the Adjutant General`s Corps is a specialized branch of the Army with just over 100 officers. As the legal implications of the military`s actions continue to grow in importance, this is an important area of the military`s work.
